Ottoman Nymphs

I love the Ottoman shawls, they actually came from India and spread all across Europe in the 18th-19th centuries. Both men and women wore them as headwear, around their waist or covering their shoulders - a very versatile and beautiful item. Here one of these little ladies is wearing hers as a turban.From 2022
